Improved Outcomes
Improved
Outcomes
Industrial and fixed plant assets operate under extreme loads, requiring precise, continuous lubrication to prevent wear and premature failure. Poor lubrication management quickly leads to downtime, safety risks, and rising lifecycle costs.
Since 2012, we have supported engineers and asset owners across Australia and New Zealand. Over that time, one insight has shaped our approach. Maintenance teams don’t wake up looking for lubricators. They are accountable for performance, cost, risk, and compliance. Increasingly, they must also meet local and Indigenous procurement targets within defined budgets and commercial commitments.
Manual vs Automated Lubrication
Hand Greasing
Manual lubrication relies on technicians applying grease or oil at scheduled intervals using handheld tools. While simple in principle, this approach depends heavily on individual consistency, access conditions, and the quality of on-site maintenance practices.
In practice, missed intervals, inconsistent volumes, difficult access points, and exposure to safety risks increase the likelihood of under-lubrication, over-lubrication, contamination, and premature component failure across critical rotating assets.
Manual hand greasing rarely achieves true Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL). Large, infrequent doses cause over-greasing followed by lubrication starvation, while frequent or poorly controlled application leads to chronic over-lubrication or under-lubrication.
Common challenges include:
- Inconsistent lubrication volumes
- Missed or delayed servicing
- High labour and access costs
- Safety risks in confined or elevated areas
- Limited traceability and reporting
Easylube®
Automated lubrication systems engineered around true MQL principles deliver precise, controlled lubricant volumes at programmed intervals. Easylube supports this through small, consistent doses that maintain a stable and effective lubrication film over the bearing’s operating cycle.
Easylube® systems are engineered with MQL as a core design principle. Key features such as the unique piston mechanism provide vital pressure feedback, ensuring correct operation and reliable, metered lubricant delivery.
By removing manual variability, automated systems improve reliability, extend asset life, and reduce total maintenance cost. Integrated monitoring, reporting, and control further support proactive maintenance strategies and long-term asset performance.
Key advantages include:
- Consistent, metered lubrication delivery
- Reduced labour and access requirements
- Improved equipment reliability and uptime
- Enhanced safety outcomes
- Scalable system design and monitoring

Easylube
— Innovation
Hornche Corporation (ISO 9001:2015 certified) was founded in 1988 and is based in Taiwan, a global hub for advanced technology and high-tech manufacturing.
In 1992, Hornche developed the world’s first electromechanical-driven automatic lubricator. Five years later, the first generation of the Easylube automatic lubricator was launched. With nearly 30 years of field use and millions of successful installations, Easylube has earned strong recognition and trust from customers for its proven quality and reliability.
This globally patented technology has continued to evolve, now incorporating infrared gear systems, smart sensing capabilities, and long distance remote monitoring features.
