How Private

Labelling Started

Our private label program was not created as a marketing initiative. It was developed in response to recurring operational failures observed in the field.

We identified a clear pattern. When automated single point lubricators were installed or serviced by unauthorised or insufficiently trained personnel, fundamental procedures were not followed.

Some of the issues observed included:

  • Incorrect grease types being applied
  • Grease lines not properly bled
  • Batteries not installed at all
  • Batteries fitted with insulation packaging left in place
  • Hundreds of uncertified lithium batteries deployed across a single mine site, creating significant fire and safety risk

These were not complex technical failures. They were breaches of basic procedural requirements. The consequences included lubrication failure, unplanned equipment downtime, and exposure to serious fire and safety risk. In every case, detailed investigation confirmed the underlying cause was the absence of defined service ownership and accountability.

Compounding the issue, maintenance teams referred to the lubricator by brand name, but when service personnel changed, knowledge of who originally installed or maintained the unit often disappeared. Accountability was lost. Support became fragmented. Risk increased.

Our private label model was designed to resolve this.
